I was watching several of the Orange’s ads for a marketing communication research project when I saw this one. funny.

About this time, you’ll be seeing the poster rounding the malls (the one I saw was in Gateway, if am not mistaken) which talked about a certain Thrilla in Manila. It was actually about Quentin Tarantino dropping by the CineManila International Filmfest come August. I mean, wow. Like, really wow. For once, our baby has invited a real star. We’re getting a bit more attitude right there, ya think?

I heard he’ll be accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award. If you’re really dense and you don’t know about this guy, you go watch Kill Bill and you’ll find his name somewhere in the credits following the title of the Director. (:P)

OT: If names have that thing called X-factor, I think Tarantino is it: Kwen-tin Taran-tee-noe… Sounds like the House Blend, right? Rrrings in the ear. Tsk. Too bad I have tacky for a name. Anyway, while Steven Spielberg sounds like a Jew, Tarantino’s makes you think of cigar and the coolness of a dashing gigolo written all over it.
